PvE "solo" char
I want to try to finish some hard places but want to do it with only hero / henchs.
Which class should I choose to make it possible? I am guessing either Necro or Paragon but I have no experience with either class. Suggestions? |

Anything tbh, if you're good. If not, get a paragon.

You can do pretty much anything using any class with h/h.

Take a look at the skills of the foes you're facing and give your heroes builds that counter them. |

A warrior or dervish will mean you won't need to rely on npc luring and tanking.

I think I will choose Paragon so I can "tank" the enemies.
I will add at least a Minion Master on my hero ranks thou. |

best to go a class that actually requires placing spells at a certain time/in a certain area imo.
I mean a warrior just does what it always does pretty much so just leave some henchie to do that but some classes (necro or mesmer for example) require someting other then just c+spacing all the time and would be used better if you do it yourself. |

Can't argue with that... it is along the lines of what I was thinking. You can't always guarantee that a h/h healer will heal you as a wammo. Plus, h/h tend shift their fighting a lot from person to person... and this can be frustrating on a warrior only character.

I'm biased against npc melee. They tend to end up as aggro nightmares and aggro mobs at inconvenient times.
